citroen c15 champ600d wont start - bat ok - new plugs help!!!?

My c15 has difficulty starting, but once going can be used off & on all day, its just initially getting it started!! I have changed the glow plugs, but problem remains..any suggestions wld be gratefully rec'd.

a few causes might be= has engine got correct grade of oil in, is battery correct amp/hour for a diesel engine, have you checked all fuel lines/components for air leaks,are all starter/battery leads making good connections [including earths on chassis and engine].are you sure there is a live feed to heater plugs when same are operated..

Aye bleed the fuel system mate. Depending on the age of the van, there will be a bleed valve on the filter top (bulkhead mounted) or, if the filter is mounted on top of the block, open the 8mm bleed valve on the injection pump. Either way, pump the priming bulb and expel any air thats in there, bleed valves open. Do the injection pump one last if there's more than one.
