My Mercedes 508d has been stood up for about seven month's and the accelerator peddle is seized up, the seizure appears to be in the fuel pump. I have sprayed wd 40 onto all the linkages witch has helped a bit but it's not enough hope that I don't have to take the fuel pump off as this looks complicated. Any suggestions ?

have you disconnected cable from pump to make sure its in pump or not ,[there is plenty of places on this model for linkage to sieze ]
