Hi,

our Whirlpool ADP4501/5 dishwasher has stopped working for no apparent reason. One day it worked fine, the next day, nothing. No blinks on the LED, no noises, nothing. I've checked the main plug fuse, checked resistance on the wires, checked the power button and the door switch but all seems ok. The socket we plug it into is also fine. I'm at a total loss as to what could have happened. I've read around the net that some dishwashers have a thermal fuse and am wondering if ours has one - and if so, where it is? I'd really appreciate any help anyone can offer. Tonight we had friends for dinner and being the host, I said, "Don't be silly, I'll do the dishes. No, no, I insist!" 2 gruelling hours later....
