after a power cut in my area my optima xm alarm system is not working, all zones are lit up, plus the tamper light is on, i tried to activate the alarm but nothing happened there are no bleeping sounds on the touch pad when any of the numbers or other pads are pressed. I've tried the reset button but nothing happened. what would be the solution to this problem?

Asked similar question as had problem few years ago and last Sunday 22nd June, no response from keypad and Zone 1 lit, I knocked it off from point and waited about an hour, put the point switch back on, after about a few minutes internal alarm sounded, I put code in and it was back to normal. Hope this is of some help to you.

Remove all power, mains and battery for a couple of seconds and try again.
