How to remove pulleys to remove engine briggs 12.5 hp?

I want to remove the 12.5 hp Briggs & Stratton Model 28T707 Type 1154 EI engine from my Yard Pro riding mower, but the pulley prevents bringing the shaft up through the opening in the engine deck. I have already removed the mount bolt from the bottom. Does the pulley have a set screw or is it pressed on? Please advise. Thank you!

The pulley is located with a woodruff key....apply some WD40, wait for a while, then gently tap the pulley with a hammer whilst pulling it down - this usually works. Failing that, use a conventional 2 jaw puller with the crank bolt part of the way in, for the puller bolt to press onto.
