anti frost problem with my baxi combi 105e?

i can not find my manual for the baxi combi 105e my problem is the boiler is in the outside shed with also has heating in it but my boiler keeps using gas even though the heating and water is off has anyone had this problem? i think it may be the anti frost kicking in and i want to try to solve it but i cant find my manual does any one know where to get one for free? please help thanks em

google search potterton ...... u could turn ur boiler off at night .. on the selector switch on the front of the boiler .. but u are running the risk of frozen pipes if it is the frost stat cutting in ...

do you know if i can bypass the anti frost to stop it working? its just that it seems to be costing around £30 a month to just run the boiler over night as the gas meter keeps going round over night even when the heating is off and no hot water is being used, it doesnt seem to do his during the day. Do you know where you can get user or instalation manual?thanks em

Your heating system may well have a frost thermostat built in, and this has full control of the system - for obvious reasons. You can reduce the stat. to its minimum, say 5 deg, and this has got to be better than a freeze up! You can also buy anti freeze inhibitiors for the system too.
