remove the bubble pannel on the back were the heating eliment is and dry the heating element with a hair dryer

hi mine did the same check on the inside of the door along the top theres should be a plastic pin mine was bent so it wouldnt keep the door closed hence tripping the electric my husband melted it a little bit so it was straight to keep the drier sensor going and keep the door shut good luck

Hi,
It sounds like there is an electrical short (wires-connectors touching or a faulty electrical part). If you intend to take the top off and have a look please unplug it and be very very carefull but really you need someone who can test it for you try your local paper for someone who does free call outs and get two of them to give you quotes just to be on the safe side.
