chock front wheels, then jack up rear of car. place on axle stands. remove wheels then slowly release handbrake. TIP: leave the car in reverse gear while rear is up. undo big bolt in middle of hub and any screws on the hub face if there are any. the hub probably wont pull straight off but try anyway. if not tap the hub while spinning and pulling it towards you. be careful when it gets to the edge of the shoes as these are heavy when they drop on your feet, (trust me) make sure the bearing in the hub stays in the hub or you will haveto clean it and regrease it. you can now see the rear shoes. half way down each shoe is a retainer clip. you need to hold the clip with some pliers while pushing the spring in and twisting until the cap releases. pull the pin out from the rear of the drum on either side. prise the shoes carefully away from the drum and twist them until you have released the handbrake cable. you will figure it out. take the shoe assembly apart while replacing with the new shoes one part at a time and make sure the handbrake ratchet is the right way around. refitting is the reverse of this. you may need to adjust youir handbrake cable and the auto adjuster on the shoes. you will find the auto adjuster on the brake fitting kit. it is a half moon shape with small teeth on the outer edge. hope this helps.
