how can i fix a gas cooker (leisure,rangefinder 55)?

when the oven is switched on the gas jets only go to half power & thats how they stay. the oven never heats properly. I think its the thermostat, but have no idea where its situated.Its a leisure, rangefinder 55

AND ITS A RANGEMASTER 55 NOT RANGEFINDER.
