Hi,

I've got an Astra H SRI 1.9CDTi with a broken wing mirror body. I've got a replacement mirror body for it as someone hit my miror off. I've looked at the back and I have seen that it is held on by three fixing screws that look like they sit behind the tweeter speakers. I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the tweeter or how to replace the wing mirror, because I know I will probably end up breaking some small plastic clip or something only to then see there was an easier way to remove the casing.

how do u take the wing mirror off astra 1.6 sxi cant find how to take the inner case off were the little speaker cos there is 3 screws to unscrew under it any help please ta

Just prise the tweeter casing off slowly, it feels like it will snap, but it wont. There is some foam on the inside, just pull that out aswell. Then you will need about a 4mm (not sure on the size, but it is pretty small) hex bit to undo the 3 bolts. The mirror electrics just un plug. Very easy to do
