I have a MGZR 160(vvc) on a 54 plate and the engine management light is on again (third time in three months) is there any way of checking it myself and switching it off because every time it goes into the garage its costs £65 to reset.Car seems to be running fine with it on.

Hi Andy, unless you have your own code reader then you cant turn off the warning, dont go to a main stealership, try a tyre&exhaust place or small independant garage they seem to charge around £30 or have a look on ebay you can get a universal code reader for around £50 then you can do your car and the neighbours!
