My friend just called round to say his samsung cool-tech fridge and freezer is working fine apart from the fridge light not working.The freezer light is working fine.
Took out the light switch which is located at the top right of the bottom freezer door,removed the switch and checked the contact,the freezer one is okay and the fridge one is not working,both got the voltages of around 5.2V dc.
It looks like the switch assembly is faulty,try to source one from samsung.
