How do I clean a siphon on an AEG Electrolux dishwasher, model FAVORIT 35085 / PNC 911939603?

According to the user manual this is what I need to clean when waste water is not draining away.

I similarly could not see what they meant by 'siphon'. I
1 Carefully cleaned the cylindrical filter (three parts)
2 Sponged out the well (under the filter) and removed debris.
3 Ithen flushed water in to the well and repeated 2.
This fixed the problem.

i think it is referring to filters in the bottom under bottom spray arm as there are no other filters i can think of.check drain hose for blockages and check drain pump is working and not jammed up with glass /bone or food
