ford fiesta zetec s, firing on 3 cylinders?

is it likely to be the distributor cap if there is no spark from one lead when i part disconnect it. The other 3 spark OK?

If your car is firing on 3 cylinders it is likely to be the coil pack as this is quite common,that is assuming it has one fitted,you need to give more info on the year and engine size to get the answer and I may be of more assistance to you,E/M tonylawleruk@aol.com

Hi Tom, there is no distributor on this engine it uses a coil pack mounted at rear of the engine try swapping the HT leads around if there is still no spark you will have to replace the coil pack
