use the proper tools for it u can pick them up at halfords and you find it a lot easier than sticking other bits in there. then just unclip the wires and jobs a good un.

ON THE SIDES OF YOUR RADIO THERE ARE 2 SMALL HOLES AT THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM OF PANEL YOU CAN TRY PUSHING SOMETHING ABOUT THE SIZE OF A MATCH DOWN INTO THE HOLES WHICH SHOULD RELEASE THE CATCHES WHICH HOLD THE CASSETTE AND JUST PULL THE WHOLE UNIT TOWARDS YOU
