how can i mend my tent?

I have a Vango tent and the inner sheet has a tear in it. What is the best way for me to repair this.

Many thanks

www.profabrics.co.uk sells tent materials. depending on repair sew or glue a piece over the damage. Have a look at their web site does lots of repair stuff. If sewing on a machine use zig zig stitch

If the tent is quite an expensive one, contact Vango customer services to see if they have a repair service. I had an entire panel on the inner tent of a Terra Nova (cost over £200), replaced for about £40.
Alternatively, because it is the inner tent and doesn't require specialist waterproofing capabilities a local dressmaker might be able to replace the panel more cheaply, as long as you can live with it being a different colour from the original.
If it is a cheap tent bin it and buy another one.
