Hi
I would like a second opinion. My boiler runs perfectly and sounds fine but is failing to ignite the piolet light. The first three lights come on green as normal, but not the main burner light. I have tried resetting. An engineer has tried cleaning the piolet assembly, but still not working. I have been told I need a new PCB for £200.00. Is there anything else I can try first as I have already forked out £50 for the call out?

The boiler is 10 years old and has never had a fault before.

Hi, is the pilot lighting?
if not, do you hear a clonk when the third light comes on?
if not it could be the pilot solenoid
