I have a Samsung galaxy ace. Recently im not receiving all texts sent to me, especially if sent from am I-phone. Any suggestions?

ive tried this too.. but i cannot pick up any other network.. i can send texts.. so i have to send texts to myself so other texts will come in

Try turning your phone off, and removing the battery for a few minutes.
Then switch back on again, and it should receive texts.
I just tried this today and it worked straight away.
I have an LG Viewty.

switch networks -should be in mobile networks settings...- to another one -(or roam) then switch back to your Network - just tried it and it worked straight away!
