The machine leaks water slightly underneath the bowl, above the gear box. I want to replace the seal...

After removing plastic agitator there were two bolts horizontal and a smaller steel plate which i also removed. Does the larger circular plate, which sits over the shaft slide or screw off or do i need a special puller?

the drum does not spin during the spin dry cycle. The water is pumped out & the agitator spins during this cycle. How can I repair this machine.

I have got a stocking stuck in the plastic agitator, how can I remove the agitator. Tried to pull it but it does not come off.

Soak shaft in Penetrene or WD40, leave overnight, then you actually stand inside the bowl, and twist back and forth as if dancing, which will then free the shaft. This is the only way of freeing the shaft.
Replace the hose to the top of the bowl at the back while you have this all apart, and have access. The hoses deteriorate and now is a good time to replace.
