Please help. My two year old hotpoint aquarius pre-wash light flashes and the dishwasher doesn't fill with water or move on from this point. I've tried to reset the thing, but regardless what setting (eco-wash, fast wash etc) it still ends up with the pre-wash light flashing and nothing else happening.
The machine was working fine at the weekend so I'm at a loss as to why its now doing this.

Thanks for this, it helped me fix my dishlex dishwasher, but i did have to turn the tap on more as well, poor water pressure may have been an issue as well.

Hi, had a similar problem with ours. After speaking to an engineer, he suggested, unplug the dishwasher, wait approx 20 seconds. Then plug back in. This apparently can "reset" the default settings. After we done this, we used a good quality cleaner, and Hey Presto! back to normal. Hope this helps, good luck.
