Thermostat on Hotpoint Ultima Tumble Dryer TDC62?

Can anyone tell me if the green spot thermostat goes on the orange wires or the blue and brown wires? Having trouble getting it to work. The orange drying light only stays on for a minute

The green spot thermostat goes on the orange wires. Also dont touch the front face of the stat or it will pop in making it useless.
