hi D,
most caravans run on the same principle, so i hope this helps.go through this procedure and i hope it helps.
fill your water supply container and attach the hose to the caravan and check by listening to hear if the water pump is running.( it has to be as you state you have cold water through the taps---called bleeding the system) at some stage the heater tank will fill and the pump will switch off. switch on
the water heater and leave to heat water up for a little while. if there is anything untoward, the electrics of the heater system usually kicks in and shuts it down. give it say maybe 10--15 mins and then open up your hot water taps one by one starting with the furthest away tap from the sink. on opening the tap you will get heated air spurting through followed by water. it will spurt in coughs and splutters until the air is purged from the system. be prepared to have to refill your container as bleeding the system can sometimes take a lot more water than you think.you will hear by your water pump whether you are making progress or not. if your taps are fully open and the pump is not running, but starts to run when the cold water taps are opened then i think you have either a stuck inlet valve to your hot water tank or the main feed pipe from your hot tank to your hot water taps has a total blockage. any more problems with it give me a shout on:--07950398177
kindest regards
joe from Scotland
p.s hope this helps
