Nothing wrong with shine on trouser seats, I wear shine pants all the time until there is hole.

How to Get Rid of Shiny Pants: Make a solution of one part vinegar to four parts water. Soak a cloth in solution, wring out, place over pants and press lightly.

The seat of most blokes' trousers shine up. If it's a problem buy another pair. Otherwise make the best of it!

I can only assume that your pants were iron on a setting to high for the fabric. If it is only in the seat of your trousers then I can also assume the the person whom did the ironing notice the iron was too hot and turned it down when the pants were completed
