What is the problem when the alarm goes directly in full sounder set/unset?

My Veritas alarm system for the past month or so has started to go directly into full sounder in both unset & set mode. This is now happening several times a day and is quite random.

I believe the problem is at the control box which appears to be trigger sensitive. A gentle tap of the control box or someone running up the stairs is enough to trigger the alarm system.

Have you any suggestions? Can the front panel of the control box be safely removed or is there some kind of tamperproof mechanism that needs to be disabled to prevent alarm activation?

Or could ba a loose connection inside the box (most probably on the tamper ring). Press the tamper spring in the control box (to reset it) and Tap the control box like normal, if alarm sounds then check for loose connections

Yes there is a tamper in the cover.
Open the cover,
alarm will go off,
Enter the user code to stop sounder
Inside there is a spring tamper switch
Stretch the spring a little and replace cover.
