Ford Fiesta - no interior light, radio or clock?

Since accidentally connecting jump leads to wrong terminals, just long enough for a spark, my fiesta interior light, radio and clock are not working. I have checked the fuses under the bonnet, passenger side - these all seem Ok. What else can i try please? 1997 Ford Fiesta Ghia

You my friend have blown the diodes in the radio, the clock, and the interior light,(which i believe has a slow dim circuit board wired to it). These diodes only allow current to pass in one direction through a circuit and will be irreparabley damaged at light speed by reversing the polarity. The diodes themselves are very cheap to buy, but can be expensive to get fitted. To repair it yourself take whichever of the items apart and check the circuit boards, the offending article should be obvious.(burnt) Maplins eloctronics should carry a range to cure what ails you.Best of luck, Paddy.

i think there is a fuse box on drivers side in vehicle, accessible by pulling out the small coin/cubby box r/h side of steering column. it sounds like a fuse has blown.
