I have a Y (2001) Easytronic. A few days ago it started driving jerkily, as though it was running on kangaroo petrol. The problem seemed to be confined to the lower gears, ie setting off and pulling away at junctions, and OK when up into 3rd and above. It also "seemed" a little better when used in manual mode. Today however I drove to work in manual mode and the problem persisted even at around 40mph in 4th and 5th albeit very mild. Its as if its misfiring, but standing, the engine sounds fine both idling and revving.

hi i have 1.2 Easytronic corsa and i was going down road and it jeck then as i was chaging into 5th gear it just rev up the shot into 4th gear again i then pulled over to side of road as i cound'nt get it to go in a lower gear then switch engine off and turn ing gear on again and the display flash then try putting in gear it come up with a f i.e fault but when i moved it over to auto it said 4th on diaplay any idea what up because garage are confussed as well
