im trying to change my fuel pump on a vw polo ive followed the haynes manuel however i just cant get the pump to free its self. it says turn left to free from bayonet but i cant budge it but also im scared of bustin something
put a glove on, one of them gloves with rubbery extra grip. now turn to the left/anti clockwise. it will only rotate about 25mm. you cannot break anything so just turn it.
