My treadmill (Leisure Works Model 1200, model # 1611300) starts ok, but after about 30 seconds it stops, restarts, and stops again every 30- 60 seconds. This goes on for about 6-7 minutes, and then it works fine. Occassionally, it will shut down completely, error code will come on (number 8 was displayed once). I then have to restart the treadmill completely. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you ever cleaned the inside of your treadmill. If you have
never cleaned the inside you may have a dirty speed sensor.
Clean that first. Call the manufacture and see if it's a speed code.
