The power light comes on but the dishwasher will not run. We had the same problem last year and the service man replaced a "black wire in the door harness". We need to find out how to locate the black wire so that we can replace it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have had the same problem. What I did was to open up the flat wire harness at the bottom of the door where it bends every time the door is opened. The wire that is broken may have left a small burn mark on the outer plastic. The first repair I did was crimp the two ends back together with a insulated sleeve and tape them. this only worked for about a year and the wire broke at the crimped sleeve. The next fix was to solder the two wires and tape them this fix has lasted 3 years and counting.
