aircon not working. light on switch comes on but compresser does not spin been told sould here a click is that right please help thanks

there shpould be a click. your system could be low on gas. get it tested by an air con centre. my cougar did the exact same thing. it had turned itself off dsue to low pressure. i had it vaccuumed and gassed and now it clicks on and the compresser spins up nicely.
