we are changing from butane to propane gas in our caravan ..do we need to store the bottle outside the van or is it safe in the gas locker? what about when it is in use? does it need to be outside the van or, again, is it safe in the locker... there is loads of ventilation holes in the locker...

same rules apply for propane / butane store in locker ok. i am corgi registered for boats,and caravans butane has slightly higher calorific value,propane less likely to freezing though.you will need to change regulator as connections are different
