a friend has given me this till but when turned on nothing seems to happen i have checked the plug and fuse both ok the last think on the till roll is service reset. i have the instruction book but cannot find the answer . can anyone help cheers kaz

Hi. Sounds like it has been off for too long. the battery will have gone flat and lost all programming. You need to check the internal battery, as it leaks badly in these, and wrecks the main board if not changed every three years. Then you need to do a full reset, which is a bit tricky.
