my piaggio nrg 50cc want start??

i went 2 start my piaggio nrg and it doesnt fire at all if i hold the brake dwn while trying 2 start it it will make a wierd noise! plz help

Does the engine spin over on the electric starter quickly? Charge the battery up if it doesn't....it sounds like the noise is coming from the starter slipper clutch, caused by the same problem.
