I have a Hoover Zodiac 12 Front Loading Washing Machine. The machine works on washing Cycles but will not purge the water or enter the spin cylce and accordingly does not allow the door to be opened.

possible filter blockage, or the pump has failed/seized, machine CANNOT spin while it CONTAINS WATER, the door interlock will not open for the same reason,WATER in drum.
manually drain excess water into a bowl now
1 clean filter, 2 check pump for objects that prevent impeller working may still need pump if seized .
