Honda Izy won't start?

struggled to start after winter, so I drained & replaced spark plug. Now it won't start at all. would appear that there is no spark at all. any suggestions.

first you need to check that the dead mans cable is engaging the switch.if thats ok then your problen will be ht lead or coil related.

These machines are probably the IZY-est of all mowers to start so something is definitely not right. Fit the new plug and also fill with fresh fuel and drain this through the carb. If you find it has a spark and still won't start then the carb could be gummed up with old fuel residue. Good Luck!

These are generally very reliable, but make sure that the electric cutout switch operated by one of the handles isn't actually cutting out. There are no contact breakers on these so if you still can't get a spark you'll need a new coil.
