Hoover 200M washing machine, water only dribbles in, how to fix?

Just recently my Hoover 200M washing machine has a problem where the water just dribbles in and does not come in at all in the spin rinse cycle. I have tested the hot and cold hoses and taps, switching them and that is not the problem. There is no problem with water pressure either.

You need to replace the solenoid valve

remove hoses test water pressure into a bucket if ok proceed to the plastic filters where the taps attach pull out clean and replace try machine (you may have a swollen washer/rubber in the inlet valve that the solenoid struggles to lift/push open)
