We have a BG installed alarm with a KP5501Z keypad. The battery had gone in the smoke alarm so this has been replaced but we cannot stop the alarm from beeping. Looking at the instructions it just says to press the reset button, but this hasn't worked!

i worked for bg installing these dsc panels...press *2 to view system troubles and consult user guide for fault guide...it maybe a supervisory fault on a wireless system...try taking smoke off cieling and let panel go into tamper,then replace smoke head and enter code and see if trouble clears....if you press *2 what comes on the rkp screen?
