Depending on what year yours is, turn the key counterclock wise but don't turn it off. Push the triangle button and a red light should come on. With this you can mow in reverse.

If you can find it then disconnect it to override....the switch is usually on the forward/reverse lever itself, unless its a hydrostatic drive where its near the gearbox.
