How can I fix my zanussi condenser tumble dryer TC7114W?

Hi, hopefuly someone can help me. I have a zanussi condenser tumble dryer which is not heating anymore, I opened the back but I can't find the thermostat, the only thing I found was a box with lots of springs. I tought that was the thermostat but when I wanted to buy the part on the internet it looked completly diferent, it was just a small part that I can't see anywhere. I think that maybe I have to go deeper to find the thermostat I don't know, could someone please help me??

the part with springs in a silver box is the heating element.the stat is inside the drum,up behind the top front .easiest way to see it is hold a mirror inside drum and look at top panel.silver round disk held in with 2 phillips screws.common failure they go open circuit.both contacts should be closed.
