Water leak in passenger footwell of ford escort van?

hi there,i wonder if anyone here can help me,i have a m reg ford escort van and there is water leaking into the passenger footwell. Can anyone help please.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES. FOUND LEAK WAS COMING IN THROUGH PASSENGER DOOR SEAL/MEMBRANE

check membrane behind door panel.if its missing,or damaged and not stuck around sides and bottom it will allow water to enter vehicle [comes in wrong side of door seal].also make sure there is no corrosion under battery? and drains around heater intake area are clear.

most likely cause for that wiil be the heater matrix. thats the side it comes into the van. check your water level in your radiator header tank which is situated on the offside front inner wing
