Mac 3200 blow up showing parts?

I need to see what is required to take apart the Mac 3200. I have pulled the primer bulb out and one of the hoses came out with it. It is a short hose that I believe came from the gas tank. I am sure that I need a torx screwdriver, but I don't want to take out screws that are not necessary to get to the nipple where the hose came from. Where ever that is?! A blow up would help. Thanks ahead!

While you have the saw apart you may want to replace the oil tank lines as well the same tubing 3/16 OD. 3/32 ID. is used on both fuel lines and the oil tank feed from the oil tank to the chain oiler pump as this line is very prone to breaking up. The oil tank line is a slide fit into the oil tank same as the fuel lines into the fuel tank. Incidentially you will need to take the cap off the oil tank to get the side off as well as all the screws previously mentioned hope this helps.

The previous poster is right. The fuel lines should probably be replaced. I got some fuel line at Home Cheapo for $3. There is a filtered fuel line that goes straight to the carb from the bottom of the tank. This is the main fuel line. The primer bulb line comes out of the tank, into the bulb, into the side of the carb. This is just to squirt some gas in when starting. In my case the main fuel line had broken off right at the top of the gas tank and so no gas was getting into the carb. You can work with the fuel line in the gas cap opening with some hemostats. After all that... the saw ran for 2 minutes great then the coil crapped out. These little saws are full of heartbreak. Good luck.

One end goes to the carb and the other to the gas tank. I have the original manual to my 3200, and unfortunately McCulloch did not provide an exploded parts view or even a complete parts list. Pretty poor huh? Take the air cleaner cover off(right on top....2 screws). Take the 2 screws out holding the handle to the body. Lay the saw on its right side (oil cap facing up) and remove all the torx screws on this side. This side of the saw cover will come off. Careful not to pull on it hard as there are the fuel line to the primer bulb, the electrical wires to the shutoff switch, and the throttle handle/spring that can come off easily. You should be able to put the primer gas tubing back in. If you've done this, you may want to replace all the carb tubing as it can become hard and brittle. Hope that helps.
