Yes, same here. The flow control knob that you turn to switch on and regulate the water probably needs replacing. This knob is connected to the inside cogs, and is held in place by two things: 1. A screw and 2. Plastic 'vanes' that form an integral part of the knob and slot into gaps on the inside cog. On my shower these plastic vanes had broken into little bits, leaving only the screw to hold the knob in place. After constant turnings on and off the screw becomes loose and then the knob just rotates without interacting with the internal cogs. Tightening the screw makes it work again for a short period of time but you need a new part, either just the knob if you can get it, or the complete front panel, which is moe expensive.
