Try the Black and Decker Web site you may be able to get information off that. I know you can download manuals but they may not go back that far for your model.
So down load a new model and see what that has to offer in sharpening the trimmer blades. If you don't get the site in the top address line try the search box. Ignore this if someone bought you a new one for Christmas.
