How can I replace a front axel on a 2004 impala?

Can you tell me how to replace a front drivers side axel on a 2004 Impala LS 3.4L?

It makes a clicking noise when I take off. It has been doing it for a while and is getting worse. Yesterday it seemed like it may have slipped.

ok here is a step by step guide of how to change the axel.
1. make sure that you have your new axel and make sure it is the correct one.
2. make sure that you have all the mechanical instruments to remove the axel and replace it, items such as, screwdrivers, rachets, spanners etc.
3. then get your lazy ass down to a garage and pay them to sort it out . simplest method. dnt waste time doin it urself, once u mess up ,well then theres no goin bak bruv
