the abs on my honda crv works every time i break?

when i break in my h0nda crv it feels like a ratcheting mechanism on the break is working similar to the abs coming on any ideas

I have the same problem with my 1998 CRV. Did you ever discover what needs to be fixed? Is it the ECM or the modulator under the hood with all the brake lines going in it?

I have the same problem with my crv. Feels like the abs pump is coming on at low speed only. works fine when braking at speed. I think it is a fault with one of the wheel sensors. Need to check them with a multimeter.Let me know if you sort it.
