yes it can be replace through door hole but they are very hard to do when you have never done one before.when you get used to doing them they take 10mins.lots of people give up trying to fit them but it can be done and may take all day.remove plastic clamp fromaround seal/door cabinet hole.push fingers down hard into door gasket at about 6 o clock just where it meets grey plastic tub and then pull it hard towards you.spring will come away from drum with seal.refit in reverse but 10 times harder
