Darren, Your rear drum has worn to such an extent that the shoes are trapped inside a lip of the drum, the only way to remove it is to be bruttal. Remove the centre nut behind the cover (it will be tight) using a slide hammer bolted securley to the drum bang it off (you will find the shoes, w/brg and hold down springs and end clips) will all come away at once. These will all have to be replaced and possibly even the shoes and drum aswell.
