thanks dave and adam it is a 2 stroke 50cc i have changed my engine oil but still it says change oil i think it is the oil sender which might be faulty

is it a 50cc two stroke or a 12 4 stroke model?if its a 2 stroke then the oil tank is either low or the sender is faulty and if its a 4 stroke then the oil needs changing and the oil light needs resetting.simply have the ignition off and hold the select button down on the speedo and then turn on the ignition and wait a few seconds until it goes out make sur the button is held down when your turn it on.it will reset it.

It will mean the engine oil. the drain plug is under the engine and the fill cap will be on the side of the engine, it will all so tell you what type on engine oil to use next to the fill cap when refilling (E.g 15w 40).

The light comes on when the engine oil is low you should check or change your oil every 3 month depending on how much you use the bike.
