How can I fix my dewalt 7 1/4 circular saw?

My saw spins but when it comes in contact with what is being cut, it catches and stops. The bolt in the middle which holds the blade in place still spins at the speed the blade should be spinning at. What do I need to do to fix it myself? my email is walksdb@yahoo.com

it sounds like you have lost a washer.....the blade is pinched in its position by a washer assembly then the centre bolt is used to pinch the washers together. any good toolshop can offer replacements
