i've just tried to start my 1986 1000cc mini city, it went to turn over but needed choking so i pulled the choke out went to start it again and now i've got absolutely nothing, it doesn't even begin to turn over
it sounds like there is an electrical fault i.e solinoid on the starter or ignition switch,you need to check if you have a 'live' to either of them using a suitable circuit tester or simular
